Set and forget. This panel w/ charger will keep your vehicle's battery topped off. This is my second one after giving my last one away with the RV it had been keeping topped off. It now keeps my pickup starting at the turn of a key. I wouldn't use this unit as a charger though it can charge if time isn't a concern. It is better suited as a maintainer.

Bought this back in early April, it is now November. Mounted it to rear of my pontoon boat and used it all summer. This is just a 30 watt trickle charger. I got 1.5 to 1.75 amps out of it on a really sunny day and around 1 amp on an overcast sky. It kept my boat deep cycle battery conditioned and fully charged all summer. This one fits perfect off the back but I wish I could fit a bigger one. The mounting frame is pretty beefy, and the whole thing has a sturdiness to it. It looks good and I really like it. It has a nice aluminum type finish and blends good with older pontoon boats. They include both wires with alligator clips or terminal eyes for the battery connection. It’s so nice to go down to my dock and fire up an old motor with a fully charged battery. I like this company’s designs. I hope they keep making good stuff. After I got this, two other boats copied me with the same one🤣.

Highly recommended. I have it charging the battery of my emergency generators, very good and it keeps the batteries charged without any problem, highly recommended. I bought it a long time ago and installed it just a month ago, due to longevity I cannot say anything about it but it works perfectly with its voltages and charges of the generator batteries.

I got this to use as a way to keep the batteries on my boat charged. It was simple to set up and took no special knowledge to hook it up. Just making sure that positive and negative are hooked up where they belong is all. I have checked my batteries since putting it into action and they are topped off and ready to go. Would give it 5 stars, but have not been using it long enough to know how well it will last. Glad I went with this way to keep my batteries charged and ready to go!

Purchased 2 for my Utility & Dump trailer 30W chargers, but have yet to install on my trailers. I've been using them on my lawn tractor, Zero turn and log splitter for about a month now to maintain the batteries and I'm pleased with how good they work. They are easy to move from one to another by just unplugging from one and re-plugging to another. Seems to charge well enough even on cloudy days. They are keeping my batteries at 13.4v to 13.6v. I've decided to purchased 50w chargers for my dump trailer because I want more charging capacity for the larger batteries because the batteries are discharged when in use.My only complaint is that it would be nice if the adjustable angle mechanism had a spring loaded de tent (like on a walking cane) instead of the bolts and wing nuts for angle adjustment. Also, would be nice to have a long and narrow panel to accommodate location under the header of my dump trailer. Wattage size of 50w to 100w with a length of about 5 foot and a width of about 12" to 16"

Bought it mid November to keep my pickup charged while away for xmas. My previous one 10w sometimes struggled to keep my battery charged if weather inclement.I installed it checked it's output. All seemed good. Parked the pickup with the panel on the dash in Florida.Came back yesterday to a total flat battery. The battery was new (3 months). Checked the unit and it has no output. Very disappointed. Used once and it died, of course no warranty, its now 2 months old and used once.UPDATE!Due to pressure of work I did not contact the company or amazon to express my disappointment.HOWEVER, the company must check their reviews and contacted me out of the blue. After replying to their email concerning technical info etc. They have now sent me a new F.O.C. panel which I plugged in this morning and is now working fine. As far as I am concerned this is great service, and going beyond the call. I'm very impressed in them checking reviews to make sure their customers are happy and contacting me when they realized my disappointment immediately. Thank you Mason and the staff at Sunpower for solving the situation. Incredible aftersales service!

First unit was damaged in shipping, and returned before I ever received it. Second unit showed up and I could see why units get damaged in shipping nothing protecting the panel itself. To my surprise unit did work for the first two weeks. Went back to my trailer that’s parked for the season to see how the unit was doing keeping my batteries charged. It’s blinking green batteries are barely at 2/3 charged it’s in perfect direct sunlight and now it won’t charge anything. Messaged for support Frank emailed me back kept asking me if it’s in the shade, if it had a load put on it etc etc etc third email in I stated I’m sorry for being redundant but this thing was working great for two weeks it’s in direct sunlight the batteries are dying and I tried everything you said. Emails stopped and now nothing from them. I even bought the asurion warranty for it they stated they can’t do anything because my purchase is still so new and I need to contact them first. now I have my trailer in storage for the winter and no panel to keep my batteries charged….
