I use this light to help maintain VLOS of my DJI Mini 4K. The drone is small and easily lost to view against most backgounds. This light helps solve this problem. It is very bright. I use the white light fast strobe. So far I've flown only about 1500' (my area has a lot of visual obstructions that prohibit flying too far without losing VLOS). But so far it has been great in situations that previously caused me to lose VLOS. This light definitely mitigates the problem. I do not worry about weight as I fly under Part 107 so I already have a RID module on the drone. As far as I can tell neither the RID module or the light has affected the handling, or the GPS or control connectivity. I will update after I fly further and under more challenging situations.

Mounts perfectly on the battery cover of a Specta Mini without effecting flight characteristics. Haven't made a night flight yet but helps track in bright sunlight. Using the alternating white and red strobe.

Wow! Unbelievable bright! This must use the most light that a diode can emit. Even far away on my mini 2 it pierces through sky when I am flying line of sight. Battery life is good, I will be buying several more 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Der Preis hat mich beim Kauf etwas abgeschreckt. Als der Blitzer eingetroffen war, war ich allerdings angenehm überrascht, wie hell er ist. Ich benutze den Blitzer für meine Drohne, damit ich die auch bei hellem Sonnenschein noch in 70m Höhe noch leicht am Himmel verfolgen kann.Bitte nicht direkt in den Blitz schauen, wenn er in der Hand gehalten wird- er ist verdammt hell!

This is a great little light to add to any drone for collision avoidance. Love the fact you can make it flash 2 color combinations. Just wish it remembered the setting you set it on when you turn it off.
