  • The size and collapsable ability of this lady bird will allow you to pack in multiple birds without the struggle of space and weight
  • Stemmed from a real photo of a hen turkey just before she bred allows for the greatest realism out there and is sure to attract the big toms in the area
  • Montana Decoy's most popular 2-D hen decoy
  • Pairs wonderfully with Montana Decoy's Jake-Purr-fect and Fantatic Tom

It’s not complicated. Toms foolishly rush in to rendezvous with a seductive hen. This breeding hen turkey decoy has made it easier than ever to give gobblers what they are looking for in the spring woods. Using a photo taken of a hen just before she was bred sends an invitation no tom can turn down. It’s the beginning of any classic love story. Guy meets girl. Guy falls for girl…well, we’ll just let hunters holding the gun write the script. We bet it ends with feathers flying and rave reviews.

You can carry a small flock in the same space as one traditional decoy.

For what it is, it is well built. However, no where in the description did it state that it is FLAT AS A BOARD. Its literally a 2 dimensional photograph of a hen on nylon material

Terrible product. The spring steel it took large for the fabric. It won’t fold down because the steel got all twisted inside the decoy.

It's a bit tricky at first, but once you learn how to fold it properly, it quickly becomes your favorite decoy. It looks real enough that it pulled the birds right to me the first time out, and I love how easily it is to take into the field with me.

Literally paper thin, a "card board cut out" is thicker then the Montana Decoy. It is one dimensional. Do not think that this "spiral wire product" is any thing like a three dimensional pop up decoy. It is one dimensional, paper thin. I guess the Tom had better not come from the side of this decoy, he would not be able to see it, because it is "paper thin." No where close to life like. I opened it up and shipped it right back.

All Montana Decoys are the best quality and functionality on the market. This decoy is light weight and fits easily in vest or pocket. Realistic and top quality!

To anyone that bought this decoy thinking it was a 3D decoy: please do your research before buying things. This is actually a pretty cool little setup. It folds down to a near pocket-sized package using what I would assume to be the same method as Montana Decoy's elk and antelope decoys.Yes, you're going to have a hard time attracting a tom with it if he comes in at an angle that doesn't show the 2D image, but you have to realize that you're making that tradeoff by buying a 2D decoy in the first place. This decoy is incredibly packable, light, realistic looking, and seemingly durable. It is designed for anyone that is more interested with weight/size savings for either packing into a location or convenience.Additionally, if you're one of the many cheapskates that probably come across this decoy because of the price, this decoy will probably work a lot better than any of the ultra-cheap decoys that you can buy at any sports shop. The image is truly high quality and realistic, unlike the cheapos, but it comes in at the same price. If you fall into either of the categories above, I would highly recommend the purchase of this decoy. I think you'll get many years of turkey blasting over it as long as you play to its advantages and are smart about its use.

Greatest advantage is the portability. Being able to fold it and tuck it in my vest is exactly what I wanted. I really don't like the bulky decoys - it's a pain when your moving. I bought this decoy in the spring of '16 but never got a gobbler to come in. This spring of '17 I placed this Montana deco several yards in the dirt field off the alfalfa field so she could be easily seen. It was a slow morning but sometime after 8am a gobbler must have seen my Montana decoy and he called and double called continuously for 10 minutes. I only gave several clucks one time about half way during this 10 min. duration. I estimated he was in our south east field (approx 150yds) when he saw my Montana decoy in our south west field. This gobbler came within 15yds of the decoy and then held up and came no closer. I let him have it at exactly 27 yds and the 12 ga. dropped him in his tracks. There is no doubt without this decoy I would have never had this gobbler come in like he did. Again the key was seeing my decoy but just as importantly calling softly and only one time was also part of my success. You don't need to call often at all. Remember the hens are the ones going to the gobblers so we are trying to do the opposite. You must call softly and less is better to have a chance. This decoy has great coloring and worked perfect with the wind turning my bird occasionally. Having some movement makes it look lifelike. My bird was 22lbs, 9" beard w/ 1 1/4" spurs. This was only my third gobbler ever. I'm by no means a pro but if this decoy worked for me it can work for anyone. Good luck!!

This will be my first year turkey hunting. I will admit I have not used this decoy in the field. I will also admit I overlooked the fact that this is two-dimensional, as in flat, not three-dimensional. I've watched several videos on turkey hunting where the Tom comes right up to other brands' three-dimensional decoys trying to make heads or tails of them. This is two dimensional, I don't know what a Tom would think once he realized that and if that would give a hunter enough time to get an appropriate shot. This review was more to make people aware. This decoy may actually work perfectly fine in the field, who am I to say. I'm just skeptical. Both the Spring Fling and the Dinner Bell are two dimensional decoys. I just always have to remember to read everything before I buy. I liked the weight of them and how small they folded. I just thought it was a little less to carry. My mistake.
