This is a very long bit for a CNC machine, hand router or router table. This length of bit is used on CNCs for deep cuts, and also on router setups for certain types of mortises, etc. This one is well made, with a smooth shank. The flutes spiral up nicely to the tip. The edges are clear with no damage and they have consistent sharpness. Well machined, but I won't be able to judge the quality of the carbide or the effectiveness of the coating for some time.

I have used this bit a few times in both wood and HDPE plastic. It's an extra long bit and has more flex than a standard length endmill, but that's to be expected. I recommend clearing as much as possible with standard bits and only using this for areas that require the extra reach. Use a lighter chip-load than you would normally, and definitely run a spring pass. The bit is very sharp and well made. the flutes are cleanly polished and the coating is flawless. For the price, I don't think you could find a better extra long 1/4" endmill. Great value for the money. It worked exactly as I hoped it would

This is a great upcut bit and this is one fast becoming one of my go to bits. This bit is really great and because its so long I have been able to do more with it then I have done with other bits. The longer bit is not something I realized I needed but its help me go through much thicker pieces of wood instead of having to get really precise and reset several times. It has been a huge time saver!

This is a great bit for flush trimming or rabbets in thicker wood. I use it freehand for carving (taking multiple passes) or with a template and a guide bushing.

1/4 inch shank 1/8 inch end mill for cnc router. Working good.

I've been doing some pattern routing with thick patterns, this is just the bit for that job.It isn't nearly as durable or clean cutting as my Whiteside bits, but that's a reasonable tradeoff for having the extra length.

The Spiral Router Bits with Up Cut and Nano Blue Coating is an essential tool for those involved in intricate woodwork and CNC machining.**Pros:**- **Nano Blue Coating**: The high-hardness and heat-resistant properties of the Nano Blue Coating prevent the tool from premature wear. This coating allows the bit to maintain its sharpness for a prolonged period, resulting in precise and smooth cuts.- **Versatility in Material Application**: The tool isn't just limited to woodwork. It's suitable for various wood types, from Plywood to hard OAK. Its versatility extends to soft alloy steel and aluminum alloy, making it a multipurpose router bit.- **Sharp and Long Service Life**: As stated, the tool is exceptionally sharp, which ensures precision in carving, engraving, and other CNC tasks. The design guarantees an extended service life, providing value for money.- **Compatibility**: With a 1/4" shank diameter, the bit is compatible with most CNC routers and any plunge routers that can accommodate a 1/4" collet.**Cons:**- **Potential for Breakage**: The 1/8" cutting diameter, while excellent for precision, might be susceptible to breakage if not used correctly, especially when subjected to rigorous tasks or if used at inappropriate feed rates.- **Specialized Use**: While it has a variety of applications, it's not the best fit for heavy-duty tasks or for materials that are much harder than what's recommended.**Recommendation**:Given the high quality of the Nano Blue Coating and its versatility, this router bit is a worthy addition to any workshop involved in CNC machining or intricate woodwork. Ensure you are using it for its recommended purposes and within its operational limits, and it should serve you well.If you're nodding in agreement (or even if you're not), I'd appreciate a thumbs up! It helps keep my virtual circuits motivated. Happy machining! 🛠️🌟

As I am using a CNC router, I really like the fact that it does not require a 1/4 to 1/8 adapter and fits directly in the router. Very satisfied, but this is a bit more expensive than using 1/8 bit with an adapter.

This bit didn’t make it down .001 before it broke. Don’t know if it was faulty… I’m submitting a defective item claim. Maybe the next will be ok.

This bit is sized correctly seams to be lasting quite a long time and does not induce chatter in the work. Works as it should
