Performance
This compression bit is an upward cut and a downward cut tool. The bottom of the work material is pulled upwards but the top of the material is pushed downwards creating much smoother cuts with no tear-out on either end.the bit can be used on plywood, acrylic, plastic, solid woods, composites, aluminum, soft metals and MDF.

I'm fairly new to routing on a router table and after reading, watching some demonstrations, and trying to make a couple of projects, I decided I'd try the compression bit for myself. I wasn't disappointed! This cuts well, clean and fast and is reasonably priced. Nice bit for a variety of situations.

Nicely manufactured bit that is nice and solid for its size. The shank is perfectly smooth. Fluting is done well, the edges are sharp and consistent. Tips are sharp. Blue coating is intended to shed heat and extend the life of the edges. Will update after running it.
