I decided to get this product because I have a snare drum stand, but it is quite cheap and also not heavy duty. It seemed like it would be a nice upgrade from what I already had.Included in the packaging is the snare drum itself, a stick holder and a drum key. The snare comes in two parts, there is the double braced feet and the snare holder/claw. To assemble the product, simply insert the snare holder into the tripod leg part and that’s it. If needed, you can adjust the memory lock with a drum key when the adjustments are done to keep it secure. It can be adjusted to support snares up to 15”, which means I didn’t have any problem fitting my 14” one. The height can be adjusted from about 17” to 25”, which is pretty standard. The snare stand I was currently using is from Westbury, which was fine, but too light weight for my taste. Sometimes, when hit, it wobbled a bit. With this, I didn’t have any problem. I didn’t have any problem adjusting the snare, but be careful when tightening the uni-lock tilter. The first time I did, it wasn’t tight enough, but once tightened correctly, I didn’t have any kind of trouble. It is surprisingly well made for the price. The hardware pieces like the wing nut may not be as refined as other brands, but it’s something that could be changed if you really mind it. Drum hardware is something that doesn’t come cheap and a drum kit can get expensive quite fast. To have good cheaper options like this is really great. I highly recommend it if you want a good snare stand

This stand is dainty and lightweight compared to a lot of other snare stands on the market. The tubing is thin and proportioned to sit low. The grips on the basket are small and seem to lend well to grasping practice pads as well as lightweight snares. The tension adjustment on the basket is thin plastic and therefore I would not recommend mounting large metal snares (14 x 5"+) as this would likely exceed the capacity and strip the threads, potentially damaging the resonant head. The base adjustment, as with other hardware in this line, is a bit awkward and will attribute to more time spent on set up and tear down(Par for the course when dealing with entry-level hardware IMO).Overall, this is a decent stand, priced according to its core audience. If you are in the market for a snare stand for a beginner or even just looking for a lightweight solution for travel or practice, this may be the stand for you!
