I'm very happy with this snare stand. My old one was 15+ years old and always felt flimsy. This Pearl Snare feels sturdy and I'm happy with it. I'd highly recommend it.

I've had a ton of stands, and always look for the lightest stuff possible. This isn't crazy light, but makes up for it just by being engineered so smartly, and being so solid. So cool that you can switch between flat base and conventional. And Pearl, thanks for the non-plastic packaging. Low eco-footprint. True love.

This snare is light and to the point. Does an excellent job. Definitely use the memory lock.

I simply LOVE this stand. Compact light weight and adaptable. I flipped the base from the flush set up to a more traditional tripod, easy to do. I had a DW ultra-light snare stand. I find this Pearl stand to be a BIG improvement on that. It's probably a little heavier but the flexibility makes up for it. Love love love it.Here's an update after using this stand for over a year. Sadly the plastic nut used to adjust the basket cracked and broke. I was able to fix it with some glue and clamps but I'm no longer using this stand for gig. It stays in my studio with my practice kit. I don't consider myself hard on equipment. So the fact that this part broke is odd. I still like the stand, but I'm a bit disappointed in the durability of that plastic part.

Light with good stability. The flat base allows for easier positioning if using for a tom. The flat base line is great for those who are moving into the "less is more" territory.
