It’s a great stand for the price, and it’s a light weight stand also.

I buy Tama exclusively for hardware, lasts a lifetime so a great long term investment. This snare stand is for use with my smaller students who require the snare a little lower. I use a 13” snare with this stand, no problems!

Needed a low-profile snare stand. I am very happy with this, I will order another. I also will buy for gifts, as this product is the best snare stand, I have ever used. Tama makes great products, and this will last forever.

Got this because i use a Remo Mondosnare thats 7" deep while sitting on a cajon so cant adjust my seat height (Im on the short side 5' 8" at best)this was the perfect solution to be low enough while adjusting the basket for a 12" drum. also its super sturdy without being too heavy. Hope this helps.

Perfect for my large , heavy Tama snare. I needed a fairly-priced stand that was sturdy and could adjust lower than most other stands and this was it.

The offset basket is to accommodate taller snares at lower height (their standard model keeps my 6.5" tall snare drums a bit high for my taste), but it can create an imbalance on the weight-dominant side. Be sure to align a leg to that side and you're golden. Love the toothless gear for more accurate tilting. The quality is great, Made in China Tama is just as good as their Japanese production days.
