My kid used this during football. The design is comfortable and allows him to breath better than other designs. It seems that the product functions well with football due to having the hole in the center for better breathing ability. It's one size fits all and seems to work well in adults and children. The mouth piece was durable enough to last the season which is about as long as anyone should use one for. Out of the box the mouth piece is already completely intact. The attachment to the helmet is and easy to use strap that clips onto the helmet and snaps into the mouth piece.

Got it to protect teeth while using a hanging neck stretcher. Afraid my football days are long gone.It works fine, but is tougher and stiffer than I wanted.I'm sure it would be fine for it's intended use.
