- When the satellite stops flashing, press the key button and hold to enter setting item 8 to adjust the calibration local time
- Check if the speed unit is accurate, you can go to setting item 7 to set the speed unit to MPH/KMH, i.e. "1"/"0"

Warm Tips:
- Avoid installing metal film or shielding, in this case, the search will be very slow or difficult to search for stars.

I Was hesitant to purchase this begin of how many bad reviews there is. I realized almost all the bad reviews were for the green one and there wasn't many reviews on the multi color one. I took my chances and bought the multi color one and so far so good. I'm glad you are able to calibrate it which is extremely easy because I did have to change the numbers to the right calibration. Once that was done, it's been this so far.

Actually was not too hard to figure out. I like it easy to set up and it was pretty accurate I had to adjust it once. But I would suggest getting it

We put thus in an older vehicle to better display speed and for the compass. The only think is the speed calibration is not perfect. When I am going 55 mph or higher, it registers 3 mpr higher. Up side is it is not registering low (which could be a problem with someone with a heavy foot).

Initially I thought this was a really good gps. It's spot on accurate when driving around town but it loses accuracy the faster you go. For example, on the highway, I was doing 82 according to my speedometer. The GPS said I was doing 88. On a positive note, at least it isn't off in the other direction. I'd rather it say I'm going faster than I am than have it say I'm going slower than I actually am and get a speeding ticket. Installing the speedometer was super easy. Changing the settings to mph with as a bit confusing. The instructions said a certain number setting was for mph/kph. The instructions were wrong. But after reading what each number setting was and what each option was for each setting, I was able to determine which number actually controlled mph/kph. All-in-all, I trust it around town but not on the highway. I'm still using it and have no plans of taking it out of my car.

This system utilizes both the Global Positioning System (GPS) and the BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS), providing a high refresh rate for accurate speed tracking. It's very very accurate!The inclusion of BDS is particularly noteworthy in my opinion as it can offer and does definitely deliver improved accuracy and reliability over just GPS alone, especially in urban environments where tall buildings might obstruct signals, which becomes problematic.The device's ability to alert drivers to overspeed and fatigue driving is a valuable safety feature, in my personal opinion, by leveraging the precision of this dual-mode system to ensure that drivers are aware of their driving habits and are prompted to stay within safe limits, and safety is always a plus in my book!The high-performance chip at the heart of the G9 ensures a smooth operation as I experienced when using it, and the clear display remains visible in both daylight and nighttime conditions, which is a testament to its thoughtful design. Kudos!While it may not boast an extensive feature set, the G9's robust tracking capabilities make it a reliable companion for those who need precise and dependable speed data. I do recommend this product for a number of reasons, the primary one being its price point for the precision that it offers. I find it to be a value added for under $30.

The instructions say setting number “0” is used to change between 12 and 24 hour time format. There is no setting number 0 on the device, only settings 1-7. I emailed customer service and never received a response despite their promise to respond. Also, there doesn’t appear to be any way to save settings on the device when you change them. Yii have to redo them every time you plug it in.

I have an older truck, and I've changed the transmission & tire/wheel size, so my speedometer doesn't read accurately to my actual speed.This little guy works great for the price. Easy to see screen, even easier to calibrate (especially if you can ride in someone else's car while calibrating), and is simple to mount. The ability to change the colors is great, it goes well with my 1983 green lit dashboard. The clock function automatically adjusts to the correct time, and is accurate.One thing I do wish I could change:It switches automatically to the clock when my truck isn't moving. I'd much rather have the clock visible at all times instead of the little compass they have.

The size of this speedometer/compass is perfect. Nice low profile that doesn't interfere with the view. I had to tweek the speed calibration slightly, and it was easy to accomplish. I like that you can choose different colors for the compass and the speedometer separately. The build quality is high and this unit should last a good long while. What's really cool about this too is it can be used with a power bank and just about anything that moves. I'm very happy with my purchase.
