No worrying about carrying long pieces of snow rails up a ladder. Each Hardy Rib Snow Guard is made from 29 gauge Galvalume steel and includes 2" metal roofing fasteners to secure the snow rails to the roof. Each kit includes a 38-inch long Metal snow rail. Installation instructions can be found in the images and are also included in the kit. For most areas every Twelve foot of panel length should have one row of snow rails. For example: If you have panels that are 20 foot from the eve edge to the ridge cap, then you would need two rows of snow rails minimum. For best results an engineer should be consulted for your area. *Color names are generic color names. The colors we have are Mid Michigan Metal Sales colors and they may not match your steel roof color. I get tired removing snow piled up in front my door going to the garage My son told me to get these He was a roofer. Use self-tapping screws with "rubber" washers. Let you know how it works after it snows.

Matched the color of my metal roof, and best of all, they stop an avalanche of snow from crashing down on the sidewalk and packing down, which makes it harder to shovel. It was easier to work with the 4' pieces as apposed to the 10' style.
