We purchased this product for our daughter’s birthday, and luckily my husband opened it the day before. Immediately upon opening we realized this locket does not have clips to hold the photo like a normal locket would. After opening and closing this locket just two times it also broke. The magnet on one side came loose from its socket and sticks to the other magnet. The stone in it also looks plastic and not like the picture. Definitely much more cheaply made then we had believed when purchasing.

This locket is gorgeous! It has a nice feel to the metal, not too cheap. It hangs nicely and hits at a comfortable spot. I knew the moonstone was probably lab-created when I bought it, and it definitely is. If you want a genuine moonstone, look elsewhere. If you just want a quality ornate locket, then this is perfect.
