Nice small locket

I ordered this chain and locket for my wife. Though I got it as a gift to let her know I was thinking of her, it makes s nice all occasion gift for a birthday, anniversary, or Christmas. The chain is sterling silver and plated in 18 k gold. The locket holds two pictures. Simply cut a person's face out of a picture and insert it into to the locket. It's held in place by a small frame piece. A very nice gift for the price. My wife loves it.

Overall it’s nice. For the price it’s worth it. The chain is short and the color is off you can tell it’s not real. I also had to glue the picture in because there is no place to slide it in. Seems durable enough. I’ll update if it ends up breaking.

This 18K gold plated sterling silver necklace has a tiny heart locket. The total weight of the necklace that I received weighs 3.92 grams. The chain is clearly marked [925] which means that it's 92.5% pure silver aka sterling silver. I couldn't find a purity karat marking on the heart locket which isn't great but it wasn't magnetic which is a good sign. I did need to remove a link on the chain in order to remove the locket from the chain because the heart shaped end piece wouldn't allow the end of the chain to pass through the bezel of the locket. If you're wanting to put the locket on another chain you will need to snip off one link and remove the heart shaped piece.
