Too long, too heavy. It is completely straight from the handle all the way to the end of the shovel portion. Doesn't work for my indoor wood stove. Would probably be more useful for outdoor firepit.

I use it in my insert wood stove. Really is about the only tool you need! My insert needs a path for air flow, and this is perfect for pushing the ash out of the way. Also easy to maneuver logs with it.
