Decent and sturdy for the price. Happy with my purchase overall. The only concern is wherever the product is being stored has a humidity issue and my product had some slight rusting on the screw ends of the tool holder pole.

I wasn't confident that what I was going to buy online would be sturdy enough or of decent quality. I was pleased to discover that this tool set out of the box was easy to assemble, 100% case metal (as it should be) and will work well. The hinge on the fire tongs and joint on the shovel both look solid. Definitely content with the purchase

It's a good fireplace tool set. It was easy to put together and it looks nice.I used the whole set the first week I got it and all the pieces held performed well.The base is sturdy and each piece fits well in the holders.It's heavy iron and did what I expected it to do. The price wasn't too bad either.I like the way it looks next to my black iron caste wood burning fireplace which is black like my fireplace set.

The stand appears to be very light aluminum compared to the old vintage warn out iron fireplace tools we are replacing. So, we married the new tools to the old stand keeping the new stand as a backup. The tools themselves are a little lighter than the old set, but not nearly as drastic as the stand. The brush is kind of lame as dustpan little broom is more practical (but we knew that going in). If the weight matters to you than I suggest checking the weight and details before buying.

Decent set. The holder could have a more robust base, but all in all it is a good set. The tools have decent weight and feel fairly rigid. Overall I'm happy.
