I like this because it doesnt have the variable second arm. The magnet is strong. I’ve been using it in a very harsh environment and it’s holding up very well. Can’t recommend this enough.

I use this to check runout of rotating tools etc.I love the magnet switch since it works perfectly and has an extremely hard hold.The arms are easily adjustable and hold things very solidly.Only downside is that the connection joints are plastic - oh well, what do you want for the price?
