Self-Inflating Sleeping Pad is a perfect choice for car camping , not for backpacking , especially at the discounted price of $39.99 (originally $56.99). It comes with memory foam, making it comfortable and insulated, ideal for winter camping. The dual valves help with easy inflation and deflation, and the included pillow adds extra comfort. It works great for hammocks, tents, or as a floor mat. A solid investment for outdoor adventures at an affordable price!

โฆ.but also some not so great. Well the only thing that I would consider not so great, Is its weight. And that is only when considering using it for something such as backpacking long distances and hiking long distances. And I say this because it is quite heavy. When someone goes on a backpacking trip, theyโre really conscious of the weight they are carrying. Especially distance backpackers. I think this one, being as heavy as it is, would be a โNo-goโ for most long distance packers/hikers. And then on the other hand, if you are a tall person, this would be a fantastic camping mat for you. As it is very long and very big. Most camping mats that I have will not fit my extra tall husband on it, without his legs dangling off the bottom edge. And itโs never comfortable for him. But THIS mat is perfect for him, because he is so tall and it fits him perfectly AND it is comfortable for him to boot! Itโs super easy to inflate (as it does so automatically, and to deflate. The carry bag it comes with leaves much to be desired, however. It is FAR too small. Maybe Superman can roll it tight enough to then fit it into its carry bag, but I sure can't lol. But other than that, I really like this mat. It IS quality made, it IS comfortable, and it IS large enough to fit big and tall people comfortablyโฆ..the trade off for that, however, is its quite substantial weight. So I think those are the things to consider when considering to purchase this mat.

Great sleeping pad for tall people I am 6'7 and just right for me. But with that it is very bulky and description says its for ultralight camping is total BS. Realistically its good for car camping or hiking short distance to camp or sleep overs. My only con is that there is storage bag that came with it is way too small to fit pad into it. I tried ten plus times to rolling the pad up to be able to fit into the bag but didn't even come close and gave up and that cost it a star in the rating.

This sleeping pad is massive and looks great. It's simple to inflate and deflate. The fabric and construction are high quality and similar to my other pads from high-end brands. I recently used this in my hammock on a recent fall camping trip and it worked great. I was a bit surprised at the size of the pad, but it worked perfectly in my hammock and gave me a ton of space. It is not small when rolled up, so this is better suited for car camping than backpacking.

Works well. Inflates well, deflates well, easy to pack up and easy to use. Pillow is very nice.

If you're a serious backpacker (5-10 miles per day in rugged terrain), this pad is too heavy and bulky in my opinion. It might be ok for hikes where size and weight are less of an issue though. On the other hand, for car camping where size and weight are not an issue, this pad may not provide enough comfort. The pad inflates fine, but may need a few breaths to firm it up. Once inflated, it is long enough and wide enough, even for someone fairly tall. It is a little more than an inch thick inflated, which is enough to take out the bumps from small rocks and twigs, but not enough to bridge small gaps or overcome small pine cones. I would recommend preparing the ground fairly carefully first before laying down the pad. One end of the pad is a little thicker than the rest, forming what the manufacturer calls a "pillow." However, most people need something higher to truly function as a pillow.Unfortunately, for me, this pad is not ideal for either backpacking or for car camping. I probably need two separate pads--a lighter, less bulky one for backpacking and a thicker one for car camping.
