Quality material! Still good as new for me and it’s been a couple years. Things inside don’t get wet so it does the main job well, and it can be used as a pump sack for your sleeping mat.

Seemed to do the trick well for us. Rolls up fairly small and does not weigh much. Used it on a 3 day backpacking trip with 2 others. I brought this and we all shared it so we could save space and weight in our bags.

I went on my first backpacking trip, so that meant limited gear that I was willing to hike 5 miles on my back.I watched the videos and read the reviews before buying this because I’ve never seen an inflator like this before and I wanted to try it out before taking it out to the woods. The reviews seemed more on the positive side so I decided to give it a try.Not sure what I was doing wrong, but the bag wouldn’t fill very much, so I started to worry. BUT, what little air I was able to trap filled the mat just fine after about a full minute of a new exercise I like to call “trap/fill” transfer, which I didn’t mind at all. I can see how this would annoy someone like my husband who can be impatient and is more of a tech nerd than I am and would go for a mechanical filler. It’s a bummer that this device isn’t included with the corresponding sleeping mat. But, the low price and light weight was well worth it. It also folds up nice and flat, taking up almost no place in my gear. I will be using this again.

I saw tests of this air pump bag on YouTube. Even compared to the fastest newest electric air pump took over 3 minutes to inflate the UL80-bed. This took about 17 seconds and inflated the mattress fuller and firmer than all the electric air pumps tested. Imo this is much more practical to use than an electric air pump as an electric one is an electric pump can break easily or not be waterproof. The unit could crap out and you're stuck!! I prefer this and recommend this air pump sack as in a rain storm this will inflate a bed faster than an electric one. And it's lightweight, only 8oz. And the other pumps don't inflate the ul80 mattress to a full or firm capacity. Or the other trekology air hiking or any other hiking or emergency use inflatable mattresses. This is an easy-to-use and versatile product. This can be used for storage of certain items like clothes, etc. Great value for the money!

super fast delivery, thanx Amazon.....When I saw this offered I jumped on it.....having used the Trekology UL80 for a couple of years, I can attest to the fact this mattress holds a lot of air and unless you pace yourself, you'll turn blue blowing one up manually.....I hooked up this inflator bag and I had my mattress inflated in less than 5 pumps...like all well engineered backpacking tools this has multiple uses.....it serves as a large dry bag you can store cloths, food etc. in, or you can haul water in it....great versatile tool.

Don't waste your money and time. Cheap doesn't equate to good. When trying to inflate the mattress, the connector pops out easily.Twice while filling the mattress, the movement of the filler bag caused the air port open the wrong way, letting all the air out. Twice. Also, the filler sack should be larger. Takes too long to fill. Finally, I tried to return this. What a waste of time! First message, "Which product?" Second message, "Why do you want to return it?" Third message "Take a photo of the product." That should have been said in one email! The company's return policy says that if you're unhappy with the product, for ANY REASON you can request a refund. The key words are "You can request" but they will do their best to grind you down, so that you give up and just take the thing to the donation station at the local thrift shop.

TREKOLOGY 30L Pump Sack Roll Top Compression Pump Bag for UL80v2Big Agnes Hinman Self-Inflating Sleeping Pad - 78 x 50 x 4"Item: 2324460001I thought this pump bag was on the large size, but when I went to blow up my double 4" sleeping pad I was glad it had a good amount of volume. The nozzle/valve for this blow valve has straight cylindrical walls.I used this on a Big Agnes Hinman Sleeping Pad and it took about a dozen pumps. It is a large pad. The sleeping pad's male air valve has a small lip on it making it about 21.2mm. Compared to the pump sack's 21mm. This 0.2mm didn't seem to affect the connection much so it was still very useful and effective

This product works as advertised and seems reasonably made. But it is really overpriced. It could work as a dry bag, I suppose... maybe... But, really, the only thing most people are going to use this for is to inflate their sleeping pad. This works well for that. I needed it right away for a trip, so I bought it. But, yeah, I knew the price was unreasonable. My experience with the product has done nothing to change my opinion.

I bought this to go with a different brand mattress pad that did not come with a pump. This was one of the few that mentioned the nozzle size, and I was trying to match the opening on the pad. I came very close, but still had to attach a strip of gorilla tape to the nozzle to get an adequate seal (not the fault of the pump). It works okay, but it is difficult to get the bag any more than a 3rd full of air; the material is just thick enough that it collapses quickly back to a flat shape as I try to seal the top. I'm still learning with these bag pumps, but I since have acquired another brand pump that has a much thinner material, is longer in shape (similar volume) and is much easier to keep filled with air as I seal it. Still, this bag pump works, and perhaps with practice I could have mastered a more voluminous technique. It seems well made. I'm sure it could readily double as a dry bag and/or a back-country shower, though it is a bit on the heavy side for you ultra light backpackers, and if you have to use tape to seal it like I did, forget using the cap to hold water in it.

I like the thicker trekology pad after many miles. It took too much to inflate until I discovered this pump sack. It is a little heavier than I would like but the trade off is worth it. This pump sack inflates the pad in less than 10 fills. It is very durable and is a dual purpose sack. I store my clothes inside when in my pack. I once thought of a battery powered inflator but after using this I think it's the best option to inflating a large pad with your lungs.
