We are assembling a large swing set play structure for our kids one piece at a time and this was perfect for the swings! Especially since we have lots of different ideas for what we want on it! Great for making it strong enough to grow with them!

I bought these so my kid could hang out while I'm using the gym. I thought I had vertical holes in the top of my rack but I found out I didn't after already ordering. Figures...I ended up making it work though. I wanted to add a little clearance on the shackle side so the swing doesn't bind. My only concern was added stress on the bolt since I am mounting it horizontally. I added bigger nuts to strengthen the bolts.Overall I'm very happy with the setup. The item itself is very solid and if I ever do make a swing outside, I'll definitely be using these.

These things are really heavy duty. I will use some of them to make mount points in the basement ceiling for a heavy bag and similar.In my case, the top nut will not have much access once the room is finished so I will likely tack weld it to a spike washer to keep it from turning if I need to screw it further in of the woods shrinks in the future. Good value hardware for what it is. The bearing makes it very quiet.

Each of these solid stainless steel hangers has an internal roller bearing that is easy to access for annual cleaning and lubrication. You won't need any tools to inspect and maintain the bearings since they used a split ring to hold the pivot pin in place. Each hanger also comes with a pair of stainless nuts with the blue plastic locking ring so you won't have to worry about things getting loose when your 4x6 dries and shrinks. I love stainless steel for outside projects and I love simple maintenance. Keep the bearings clean and greased and these will last forever. Well worth the $40 selling cost.

Anytime a product claims to be 304 Stainless Steel, I pull out my trusty magnet to test. Under most circumstances, 304 stainless should be non-magnetic. My magnet sticks to these, more so on the threaded section that the shackle part. I do believe they will remain relatively rust free, but only time will tell. In the end, I deducted one star simply because the thread quality is very rough. The products I generally use seem to be of a higher quality, but of course cost a little more. These will work just fine for hanging a couple of porch swings.

I installed a couple of hammock swings this past week on a 4x4 beam, and these heavy-duty swing hangers made the job so much easier!There were no instructions, which was frustrating, but I was able to check this product page for the correct order of the bolts and washers and watch the video for detailed guidance.Even with that hiccup, it took me less than 45 minutes to get both swings securely installed. The hangers are made from durable stainless steel, so I believe they'll hold up well over time.I’m really happy with them and would definitely recommend!
