I put the ladder keepers on the boat. When I put the ladder up, on TBE 1st try both keepers broke. They basically blew apart. Junk

Back to Back (nice if small bolts included, only reason for 4 stars) after a trip to the hardware store and they worked great, a good quick release item, added a small line so one could get the ladder down from the water if needed, never say never!

I used nyties to mount the clips to my hardtop supports. Using them to hold my boat hook, going to work out great, boat hook is out of the way but readily available if needed.

I installed these on a boat to hold a boat hook that is 1.25 inches in diameter. These mounts are fairly hard plastic, which holds the boat hook very well, but it is difficult to yank the boat hook away from them when the boat hook is needed. I thought they would loosen up a bit with use, but so far they are as tight as ever.
