This storage pouch is pretty rugged and durable and the mesh material looks to hold up to lots of hard use. The opening at the top isn't elastic and it stays open, so I wouldn't trust it to anything that could fly out during higher operating speeds or excessive wind. Because of the design, it really can't use a Velcro strip to keep the pouch closed, but if a top piece with a zipper that fills this gap would be a great design change. Also, the Velcro strips attached well to a very clean, wax, oil, and dirt free fiberglass area near the helm. The mesh won't keep things dry from direct spray, but will allow it to dry easily.

Great little addition for storage on board or anywhere for that matter. It is of good quality and a good value. Adhesive so far is working quite well, would definitely recommend to anyone that wants to add a bit of storage either on your boat or anywhere that has a flat smooth surface.

The marketing language emphasizes a lot of different things about this product - but it is a mesh pocket that you can stick to any hard surface. It's open at the top, so you're not really "securing" anything you put into it (beyond just having it roll around on the floor / deck). Build quality is good. It's functional to the extent you need a pocket to hold things. Easy enough to peel off the backing and stick to something. Looks fine for a boat or similar setting. Best thing about it is the price is quite reasonable.

This 10x7 mesh storage organizer looked like it was a good option for my boat to add some convenient storage where I'm often rigging my fishing gear while out on the boat. This organizer will work for me, but I was disappointed to find that the opening is simply loose and open. I though the top might have an elastic band that kept it more closed. But the top is just open which won't help retain loose items that have the potential of getting blown out of the organizer and the boat while running the boat at speed. So I'll just have to limit what I store in this to items that are unlikely to get blown out.
