I use these almost exclusively for wine gifts. The design is classic and works for all occasions, and the bag quality is good. I always hold wine bags by the bottom “just in case” and knot the inside laces. Not one bottom has given out. A couple of the laces went through before tying them, but in my opinion, that is to be expected.
