It's such a great buy.its all metal. I had some others that were not metal. And keeping them in my bag they got broken. But not this one and for the price you just can't get better

It's what you get for what you pay. It's not comfortable to use and the t-paper will slip out of place it you don't keep the handles held firmly togethee.

After carpal tunnel surgery on my right hand last year, I've now developed arthritis in the thumb, and I realized I needed some assistance. I looked at the available choices and felt many were overly complex and large. This one is simple in design, but it works well. It appears to be well built with nice cushy handles. As a woman, this size works well for me.

I use the tongs as a reacher or grabber as i cannot bend real low. It attaches to my walker. Very handy.

I have bulging disks in my back so I thought this item would be helpful. It is, somewhat, but there's an obvious design flaw. The grip is on the end, rather than the side, where it's needed to effectively hold the paper. If the inner curve of the gripping portion were bent to close tight like the end, it would be a lot more useful. I'm going to try "fixing" the problem with moldable plastic, but the manufacturer should correct this so purchasers don't need to.
