Wow, this food looks like a protein bowl from Erewhon - seriously high quality ingredients. It came in a large box with dry ices so it was completely frozen (despite sitting outside for a bit) … (note - set the dry ice outside and it'll dissolve on it's own, don't touch with your bare hands or breath in). I have a 65lb dog, so he would require about 5 cups per day so each back would last about a week (so the 3 bag supply wouldn't get me through a month). That being said, he did really love this food and I had no belly issues with switching him over when I ran out of his last food. I would heat the tea kettle and pour that over his food blow and it would thaw the frozen food + cool the water at the same time. If it's in your budget I definitely recommend this brand.

The moment I saw the shipment box sitting on my front porch, I knew I had made a smart decision.A robust, heavily insulated box contains the twelve pounds of gourmet pet food. Thanks to a generous portion of dry ice, all of the packets were still frozen! One of the three bags went directly into the fridge to defrost while the other two were stored in my freezer. We have three cats and one dog. Since we didn't have children, we tend to spoil our animals in the food department.Name a luxury pet food brand, chances are we have tried it, but I must admit none of our pets have approved. Perhaps we didn't give them enough time with the brand or maybe we should have blended a food they love with the new brand. To say that I was nervous about ordering the three giant bags of FULL MOON food is an understatement, but I took the risk.My dog WILSON, 15-pound Scottish Terrier, was the first to try the food. When I opened the defrosted bag, I was completely surprised because this looks exactly like something I would happily eat on pasta. Full disclosure, I did try the food myself. The chicken and veggies are cooked perfectly, just a little bland on seasonings for my taste, but I imagine pets prefer it this way.I poured out a healthy portion into the blue bowl pictured. WILSON didn't do his usual, sniff walk around and cover with imaginary dirt, he made a b-line to the bowl and began inhaling it! THIS WAS A FIRST WITH NEW FOOD.Cannot believe I found a premium brand that my dog LOVES!The kitties were the next guinea pigs. They didn't wolf down the veggies like WILSON, but they made the chicken disappear in record time! When HARVEST MOON says that their food is HUMAN GRADE, believe it!I appreciate that the company insists on the animals they use to make the pet food are ethically raised and harvested. This should be the standard because no animal should have to suffer. This is just the beginning of a beautiful relationship with HARVEST MOON.I look forward to trying everything they make, which should take some time because they have many types of treats, frozen, and dried food.I estimate the three bags I received will last 2-3 months for my four pets.

I'm very impressed by this dog food. My dog Charlie tends to be a picky eater, and I've given him some other gourmet dog foods that he has (literally) turned his nose up at. But boy does he love this food! I've mixed it with dry food, and he eats every bit. The food looks great - it actually reminds me of stir fry mix! You can see the quality, and I'm very impressed with the ingredient list and the obvious commitment to quality. Yes, it's a bit pricey, but quality costs. I also love that it's made in the USA. Overall, Charlie loves Full Moon! Four Barks from Charlie!

My dog loves it so much!First I want to say that it arrived very well packaged, it was shipped with dry ice and all three were still frozen by the time they arrived, I even still had dry ice left (which in the summer months probably wouldn't last).I do like that it smells very bland, for dog food this is very important to me. There's not weird additives to it, it just smells like bland turkey with some veggies. I appreciate that a lot in dog food.I just heat it up with a bit of water in the microwave (not very hot, just enough to warm/thaw it), add it to some kibble and my dog gobbles it all up!
