I ordered this to replace a shade/globe on a lamp that got a makeover. It’s perfect! The scalloped edges and subtle grooves in the frosted white glass give it the feel of a flower, which is exactly what I wanted.The glass is nice, and thick enough to feel durable, without being too thick, or too thin. The opening is the perfect size to fit over a standard bulb base socket. I was worried it would be too large or too small, but it was just right! Goldilocks would approve of this beautiful lamp shade/globe.I highly recommend this if you want a fresh new look on your ceiling fan lights (which might be next) or a lamp that needs a pretty upgrade!

So I like this mainly because it is glass and replaced my plastic one. Note it is pretty small but I think it looks nice. The cracked glass frost does filter the light so if you need it super bright this may not be for you. For my living room lamp, this is good

A bit small, but it'll work for any torchiere. I wish there were more options in between the 300-400$ that a nice torchiere shade costs and this, but there isn't much to marvel over, so the price is fine.
