These are not the highest quality. they have a super obvious seam, kind of thin… BUT we had to replace a ton of stuff in a bedroom after a hosting an unruly houseguest so if your trying to stretch money, then these will definitely do what you need. Just position so you can hide the seam :-) they do diffuse the lamp light nicely (looks softer in person my iPhone is making the light look more harsh than it really is)
