They are just as described - beautiful color that go perfect with the Mikasa Watercolor Forest dishes I purchased. I haven't used them yet, but trust the other reviews that they will wash up beautifully. They came well-packaged with no wrinkles or ceases. They appear well-made. I would buy them again.

These are well-made and roomy placemats in beautiful colors. They are strong, smooth and tightly woven to give an elevated look to your table. I have not washed mine yet, but I do not expect any issues.

Substantial. Not really linen-looking but not cheap looking. Generous size. Evergreen color very nice. Easy to spot clean...have not laundered yet...probably would launder in mesh bag and lay flat to dry.

I ordered several different grey placemats at similar pricepoints, to see in person which looked best on my table for everyday use. This item won, no contest.The burlap fabric is soft, smooth, thick, and well-stitched, with straight edges and well-squared corners. The mats lay flat and are wrinkle-resistant. They're machine washable, clean up well, and hold their shape and smoothness nicely. The grey color is a true medium grey, not bluish or brownish. The 12"x18" size is just right to accommodate a regular place setting comfortably.I definitely recommend these placemats as a great value for a nice and casual everyday table!
