Remflex Exhaust Gaskets are soft and compressible so the suggested torque for each gasket, which is generally much lower than factory torque, is listed on the back of each package. Remflex's unique flexible graphite material has been proven for more than 30 years in industrial applications, where temperatures routinely exceed 2000 degrees-day after day, week after week, year after year. For over 10 years Remflex has been bringing this technology to automotive enthusiasts of all kinds to eliminate exhaust leaks for good. Experience has shown that no gasket "should" be reused if you want a reliable seal, therefore Remflex do not sell or market gaskets as reusable even though it have been told that they have been reused successfully in the past. Do not use sealants of any type with Remflex gaskets. The sealant burns out rapidly leaving a gap which creates an exhaust leak. Remflex Exhaust Gaskets are good to 3000 degrees which far exceeds the temperature rating of any sealant.

Did the job, was a little unsure if it would seal the exhaust leak I had.I bought some after market manifolds and they did not line up with exhaust Port on the head.I was using Corvette D- Port heads and this filled in the difference between the mis alignment of the exhaust manifolds.I highly recommend these to fit those after market exhaust manifolds.

Stymied a stinky exhaust leak with a pair of these squishable eighth-inch-thick Remflex nummies. Happy camper here, and I don't even camp. I do however, likes me these Remflex 2005 Exhaust Gasket for Chevy V8 Heads. They work.

These gaskets are super fragile. They may work awesome if you are installing headers outside of the vehicle, but if you need to reconnect while in the car, these get destroyed very quickly. Straight to the trash for me! Aluminum laminate was flawless in the same conditions. I went with Mr. Gasket.

Terrible set of gaskets, looked good and thick quality in the packaging. But when I took them out of packaging and went to install them I noticed the gaskets where broke or torn couldn't send back and return, because I needed something to use because my old ones fell apart taking them out. Started installing the gaskets handling them lightly and they started falling apart like the gaskets where old. Very disappointing and disappointed.

My 80 Corvette Hooker side pipes have a bent flange. So I decided to try these rather than have them straightened. These work flawlessly. A bit thick but standard bolts worked fine. Sealed perfectly. I have tried all the tricks and methods. High temp rtf, multiple gasket brands etc etc. Nothing worked. These are the best I have used for the problem I have. Highly recommend.
