The wire connection to the controller has some wiggle at the base but otherwise the controller feels solid. The response is good from the sticks, bumpers, triggers, and buttons. The size is slightly smaller and the buttons are noisier. What is missing from the controller is the ability to power on the machine from the XBOX button. This review has been written during the first week and after returning the first set of controllers. The shame is that MS has discontinued the manufacturing of the OEM controller, which happens to be a regularly replaced component.

I can perform so much better with this controller. Buttons snap perfectly, and the hats give minute change feedback that got me performing way better than my last offbrand controller. I prefer a cord for the 360, and this longer cord is perfect.

Less than a month the joy sticks started sticking and does not work properly. I don’t beat up my controllers. But it’s been less than a month and the joysticks stick to one side so you can’t move or aim properly.
