  • VERSATILE DESIGN FOR TRANSITIONAL RIDING - Ideal for transitioning to neck reining, the Reinsman Little S Hackamore is perfect for horses that naturally rate and prefer going bitless; It's especially effective for older horses that respond well to light signals and for riders with heavier hands
  • HANDCRAFTED FOR PRECISION - Each cheek of the Little S Hackamore is shaped by hand and inspected for uniformity to ensure clear and consistent communication between rider and horse; This meticulous craftsmanship guarantees that your signals are easily felt and understood by your horse
  • DURABLE CONSTRUCTION - Made from solid, medical-grade stainless steel, this Reinsman horse bit is built to last through years of use in various conditions, from heat to snow and muddy arenas; It also features a stabilizer cable to maintain the ideal position of the cheeks
  • CUSTOMIZABLE PRESSURE - This western hackamore includes a curb chain that can be adjusted to customize the pressure applied to the horse's nose, jaw, and poll; Starting with a looser chain reduces the severity, focusing pressure primarily on the nose and poll, while a tighter chain increases control and signaling
  • DESIGNED FOR COMFORT & CONTROL - The hackamore's waxed rope noseband starts rigid but softens over time for a comfortable fit; Adding vet wrap or mule tape until it breaks in is useful for heavy-handed riders; This balance of comfort and control makes it a favorite for barrel racing, training, and competition

Been using this hackamore on my mare since we got her back in 2016. Being a mare, she hates everything, but she seems to hate this less. All joking aside, the only thing I’ve had to do to this little unit is replace the chin cable with a new one because the old one frayed. Typical maintenance stuff, no biggy.

So I’d like to start off by saying the quality reflects the higher price, compared to cheaper hack I’ve gotten the weight and feel of this one reins supreme. I decided to give this 4 stars because the wire connecting the metal on both sides isn’t covered, I understand this piece shouldn’t be in direct contact with the horse but it concerns me it’s not covered, like many other hacks (even many cheaper ones) have a clear cover to block the wire from touching the horse. I have yet to use this as I just recieved it after riding. UPDATE: I’m sad to say this will be returned, in order for this to successfully fit my horse I’d have to cut off the wire cable because it makes contact with his skin without the hackamore even being pulled, second, the curb chain on the loosest hole is making the hackamore barely fit on his face it is so tight I can hardly fit a finger between the rope nose and and his face. (I have an appendix horse for refrence) so overall, if you have a smaller horse go for it because the quality is nice but if you have an averaged sized horse I can’t say it’s gonna have any wiggle room. Disappointed because I had hopes for this, guess I’ll have to find another brand.
