The waterford mouthpiece is comprised entirely of lozenges curving around the toungue. Waterford mouthpieces can be harsh and are difficult for the horse to pull against and lean on. Should only be used by experienced riders or under the supervision of a trainer. D-Rings provide additional help with steering and prevent the bit from pulling through the horse's mouth.

Awesome quality. Works wonders on my horse. Great bit to control your horse without using a stronger bit that would make them dull. Well made and great price. However, the shipping was very late and I wasn’t able to get it in time for an event. But other than the shipping time and customer response service... would definitely recommend
