I’m canning home grown tomatoes and Ball jars are the typical jars to use just like my grandma & mom used.

I have been looking for these mason ball jars forever and not for canning. I put my dog's small milkbone treats in 2 of the jars as I noticed ants going for the dog treat cookie jar. No more ants and fresh treats! I know our Sonic is loving the treats his way!

The four items arrived a few days ago I have not used them as of yet but they resemble Mason Jars that I have had and seen before placing the order. I am certainly going to enjoy using these for the canning and pickling here in the near future.

7/22/22 - Update. Since writing my original review below on 7/20/22, I have not had a chance to eat my remaining (5) jarred salads until last night. I added a picture to show that the salad is still as fresh as I made them last Saturday.In retrospect, I should have mentioned the contents of the salad which are: kale, spinach, cherry tomatoes, golden berries, shredded (beets, carrots, red onions), diced grilled chicken breast, corn, black beans, chick peas, edamame, 2-3 crumbled lime pepper tacos chips, and topped with omega 3 nuts (added when eating) from Trader Joe’s.I must say I saw a girl on Tik Toc show how she preserved her salad by using Mason jars and thought it was a great idea and should try it.After reviewing numerous Mason jars on Amazon, I decided to buy this Mason jar set based on the measuring chart on the side and other capabilities. I prepped my salads (7) on Saturday, 7/16/22 to have as my dinner. I was amazed when I ate one jar on Monday. The salad was very fresh as if I made it that same time. I highly recommend purchasing these jars. You won’t be disappointed.
