I originally bought this chair specifically for it's weight capacity. I usually fluctuate between 210 and 230lbs, so I wasn't worried about capacity, but wanted something I did not have to worry about breaking. It is definitely strong and sturdy, I would feel confident standing on the arm rests.After over 2 years of use it shows no sign of breaking in the frame. The zipper that holds the chair together when folded has broken, and I split the seat material from repeatedly kneeling on it with one knee to reach items behind the chair. I use this for fishing where I am essentially camped out for a day or more. I have duct taped it and still use it. The there is nothing wrong with the frame of the chair.I plan to keep this chair as a backup and repair the seat material better.I have two complaints about the chair. It is heavy and has a terrible carrying strap. If the strap was better, maybe the weight wouldn't be an issue. No matter how I try the chair seems to slip off my shoulder. I have strapped it to my backpack, but it is almost 10lbs and swings back and forth.I will be buying a new chair that is lighter and easier to carry. I plan to keep this chair for the fishing spots that I don't need to walk far, or I can take my fold up wagon to.It really is a good sturdy chair, if you are just gonna keep this in your trunk and pull it out an sit right there, this will work great, especially if you are on the heavy side.

I used the chair a few times around the yard, finally went on a hunting trip and used it for a week. And it’s falling apart!! Sticking is coming apart, and the pivoting hinges are loose. I weigh 170 pounds. Don’t buy the chair

This is a great folding camping chair. Very sturdy, and comfortable. Easy to fold for storage. I would recommend this chair to anyone.

This is a great, larger chair for older folks who need a sturdy chair with armrests, a higher seat and one that is easy to get out of without fear of tipping over or having the chair collapse It will be perfect for the post-coved time when we can start going back to our grandsons' soccer games! It is a bit on the heavy side, which is to be expected since it is a more substantial chair, but with the strap on the carrying pouch it handles easily.
