I was excited to use the 4-in-1 capabilitys to finally have a "one size fits all" solution to my growing transmitter problem. The features of this transmitter are exorbant, unfortunately the range that I was able to achieve was less than a football field. The symptoms persisted when using the receiver supplied with the transmitter.

that's the surface radio from one of the most infulent trademark in RC nowadays, it's completely customizable trough EdgeTX, there are tozen of video guides, response is 100% accurate, 4 trim per axis, 8 fisical channel....it's a beast!

SENT US A DEFECTIVE PRODUCT. MADE US PAY TO SHIP IT BACK AND COST US 3X WHAT IT SHOULD. ALSO CLAIMED THEY SENT US A REFUND BUT THEY DID NOT. THIS WAS A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME AND A HORRIBLE COMPANY TO DEAL WITH. PRODUCT WAS FAULTY AND WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY

I had high hopes for this transmitter, it has the flexibility in programming that I always wanted. There are however two big problems for me. The more immediate problem is that mine randomly powers itself off and Radiomaster won't stand behind their product, so the warranty is useless. I've had countless times where this happened and resulted in my car/truck slamming into a wall or other object (thankfully haven't hit a person or pet). A bigger problem that I discovered in the course of trying to solve the first issue is that this transmitter has a big design flaw. That flaw is that it uses the SD card as the operating system ram so if the SD card has an issue the transmitter can end up shutting itself off. This is a huge risk in certain situations because like the problem I have had when the transmitter shuts itself off you lose control (obviously). I strongly recommend looking at other options.

This thing is awesome, better latency than an $800 Futaba and more features to boot, all for less than $150.It is complicated and takes some reading, but once you figure out the basics you're basically unstoppable
