Wished it would have fit. The fit is too low when you lower the needle down - could not move fabric - I have an older singer so stillOn the hunt a ruler foot .

I should have bought a foot with an open top so that the tightening screw could be loosened to install the foot. Instead, the closed top forced me to remove the screw. My hands are too large to hand tighten the screw while holding it all against the shank, and kept dropping the screw and foot.After using a strong magnetic wand to retrieve things, I tried using the wand to “magnet tighten” the screw into the shank threads. Did not work at first, bought magnetic screwdriver which wasn’t strong enough - and 2 days later, tried again with the wand and succeeded in starting the screw and finally installed the foot.After testing, would have rated 5 stars if the top were open OR if you bundled a small strong magnetic screwdriver.Value for money good, the best adjustment was with the slot flush with the bottom of the shank. Suggested improvement is to open the top of the slot.

Fits my machine just fine.........it all looks great, but unable to move the fabric to free motion quilt. Defeats the purpose. Yeah, it'll fit on a Brother machine, but if you can't move the fabric, it serves no purpose at all. It's just a fraction of an inch too low. Tried everything I could think of to adjust. Anyway, found a different foot to try as I'd like to use rulers with my FMQ. This just didn't do the job.

the low shank foot works but seem to be a little tight on material, was wondering if a super low shank foot would be better. very happy with the product it came sooner than expected .very good Quality

This ruler foot is sturdy and well made. Fits my Brother Machine. If you are using the quilting rulers, the 1/4 inch thick rulers are too thick to be able to start at the very edge of the ruler. You really do need to use the thinner rulers. The only work around to this is to know how to adjust your pressure foot so that it sets higher. But don't forget to reset it afterwards when you are back to normal sewing!!
