Before making an order, please verify the dashcam power interface compatibility with the D90-4CH model. The provided adapter is incompatible with this device.

This thing is great. Installation was really easy and the amount of supplies you get is perfect.

I like how easy it was to install. Had two empty fuse slots to use so it was pretty painless.

This kit makes it a lot easier than making the wires yourself. I didn't have to splice anything!

Used this in conjunction with an apeman camera, works really well! This is superior to some of the other hardwire kits due to the fact that you can still use a fuse on top of the wire tap, it also has an inline fuse for your additional device. I was able to find an unused threaded hole on the chassis of my prius and added a screw and the wiring went really simple. I did opt to solder the fuse connector the the harness for a more permanent/cleaner look but you can do it with a crimping tool as well. It's really nice they include options for different sizes of fuse. The harness I purchased in the past showed a straight plug but included a right angle plug which messed with my installation because the rear camera plug is right next to the power plug.I would definitely buy this one again

The mini-USB cord is plenty long, it can reach from the fuse box up the A-pillar and all the way across to the other side of the windshield. If anything the power cords are too long, and I ended up stuffing the excess behind the kick panel. Installation was fairly easy, but if you've never done something like this before, search out some instructions or videos on the internet first. I wanted to totally hide the cord so I removed the A-pillar trim and kick panel first - easy once you see how it's done, and actually much easier than just trying to do it by pulling the fuse box cover. One minor quibble: my Mazda uses low-profile mini fuses, but for some reason the low-profile tap wouldn't seat securely into the fuse slot. The good news is, the kit also comes with a regular mini tap which will fit into low-profile slots; I just needed to buy a couple of regular mini fuses (cheap at the parts store) to plug into the back of the tap since you can't plug low-profile fuses into a regular mini slot. This worked so well that I am now going to buy another kit for my wife's car.
