As an input switch it's fine. The volume control is not. It has a "B" linear taper, not the correct "A" audio taper potentiometer. Consequently, the volume is of little use except for off and fully on. This is either a major design or quality control failure. Also, at a low volume setting sound is harsh and lows are gone.

This product is a great low-cost solution to quickly switching to multiple analog audio inputs, I will warn you though, be careful when inserting RCA cables. If you use too much force, you will put out the jack from the device.

I bought this A-B stereo switch to use for switching between 2 turntables in my audiophile reference system at the turntable preamlifier. It worked , but it was very noisy when switching from A to B turntables and if muted, the mute switch was noisy there also which caused loud pops . I am pretty sure this item would work just fine for headphones or computer speakers where senesitve equipment and large amplifiers are not involved.

I use this with a Zune, my computer, and a Sony Discman D-33. Like other reviews have mentioned, the volume from the input can only be so high before things start to distort and sound awful. My setup isn't even meant to be some audiophile dream, I just wanted something that allowed me to not have to swap my headphone jack depending on where I'm listening to music from. It's unfortunate that my previous switch, a Gamestop branded 4 way component video box, didn't have such limitations at all (with its major crime just being large, ugly, and obviously geared for video and audio). It's unfortunate, but I can't recommend this with how little room you have to adjust the volume before it's bad. I did like the construction and how small it is, plus I was really hoping to have my audio sources set to a specific volume so I can use the included dial to adjust it depending on the music. If you listen to things so you can hear other things around you, this switch may be serviceable to you.

I really only like to write reviews for products that I love or products that I hate. I love this switch. For those crazy audiophiles out there that have too much gear, audio switches are life savers for A/B comparisons and for hooking up the various amps and dacs we own. There are boutique audio shops that have 6-in-1-out switches but they are nearly 8 times the cost of this unit. Are those boutique versions (Mapletree Audio Design, Eric Yam Designs, etc.) likely better built with better components? Yes. Are you likely to hear the difference? Maybe. I would argue audible differences between this unit and a boutique version could only be heard on insanely high-end equipment, which you likely aren't hooking up to a switch anyway. I debated on buying one of the fancy ones but $30 is throw away money for audio equipment and Amazon has a nice return policy. My use case: I was actually looking for a device that does 6-in-6-out because I have too much equipment, but those are extremely pricey ($400+ for US-made and $250 for Chinese made). I read on Head-Fi that you can take a bi-directional switch (like this one) and use one for your "in" and one for your "out" signals. So, I bought two of these units, attached six dacs to one and six amplifiers to the other using some good quality RCA cables and even fed both units into a Schitt Lokius. Much to my surprise, there's nothing but pure musical bliss from all sources and all amps. Completely black background from an IFI, Topping, Monolith, Audio-GD, Schiit, and SMSL dac (Zen Dac V2, D90, Liquid Gold, R2R-11, Modius, and M500) into four tube and two solid state amps (Darkvoice 336se, Little Dot MK II, Liquid Platinum, Schiit Heresy, xDuoo MT-604, and Nitsch Piety). The knobs on my units feel sturdy and there's a satisfying click for each input/output.I cannot praise this unit enough. I was worried because some of the reviews said they received static or a reduction in sound, but neither of my units exhibited those issues. If the units burn up or have issues down the road, I will update the review here, but for $60+, I now have complete access to all my dacs and amps and can A/B like a crazy person to my heart's content. As a side note, I have also used the Schiit Sys and the Nobsound 1in-4out switch (easy to find on Amazon). Both are about twice the price of this unit, but the Prozor sounds the same to my ear.A great piece of gear and an awesome price for audiophiles!

Needed something to connect a turntable, an Amazon Echo and two computers to a Loxjie A30 Dax/Amp. This switch was exactly what I needed. No pops, crackles, or hums. No noticeable distortion when playing music. Solid clicks with the selection knob and the RCA inputs are a good tight fit. I really like using a selection knob instead of buttons to change inputs. The selection knob does wobble a slight bit, but not a deal breaker. Planning on purchasing another one for the garage.

I got this for my mother headphones she uses for the TV. I got her a second pair so she doesn't have to go without when one runs out of battery and needs charging up. VERY easy install, just go from back of TV Audio to back of splitter and then plug headphones into the front. No power plug is needed for unit. Works similar to a splitter but you control which one is being used. YOU CAN NOT USE BOTH AT SAME TIME. Great product!!!!
