It fits but it’s too long. I did one knot in the cable and it works. Not ideal but you get what you pay for.

Like others have mentioned here, the cord works however it’s about a half inch too long. The easiest fix, is to tie it in a knot(not ideal) as the integrity of the cable is now in flux. I’m anticipating this cable to only last a few seasons max, because of this. For the price, and getting my mower up and running, I’m still giving it 4 stars- I couldn’t find anything this size locally.

it was too long for a TroyBilt, but a suggested knot worked. we will see how long it lasts. the knot really is a built in failure point, but it may last a season or two.

This is exactly want I needed and got it in two days after I ordered it. Worked perfect and is adjustable. On a side note went to the local, very good, professional power equipment store and they could not match it up, would have to come back the next day to order it from the guy that orders the parts, since he was off that day AND it be 10-14 days for it to be delivered to the store. WTF. Anyway, Amazon came though again!

I was afraid when I ordered the part that it would be the wrong one. It arrived quickly and I looked at it and thought it was too small but lo and behold a perfect fit! So easy to install and now my mower works great again!
