I have a bad boy elite 48". PTO would not engage. OEM part under mower had broken. Bought this, installed myself as it's very east and problem solved. I recommend this part.

Neighbors wifes Crapsman mower blades stopped spinning a few weeks ago. He had some other guys messing with it, with one saying the blade switch was bad, and another saying the blade clutch was bad. I kept telling him to just bring it to me, which he finally did after tiring of the run around he was getting from the other guys. I found both the switch and clutch to be good. When I finally discovered this harness, I pulled it out and checked it with my multimeter and discovered that the diode in it had died. Searched and found this harness w/diode, which you must have on this tractor or you will likely fry the electrical system. Only issue was the plug on the end of the harness that connects to the main harness was different (thanks, Crapsman and MTD), so I simply cut the old harness wire just before the diode, installed a couple spade connectors, plugged it all together, and just like that the blades are spinning once again.

Same length as original for bad boy maverick and seems to work correctly but wires are not completely covered. Not a dealbreaker but not what is advertised.

This part was a perfect pen. The length was perfect. It was an exact reproduction of the original. Just make sure you order it with the diode , if your original has it. I’ve ordered from HD switch in the past and their parts have been perfect.
