Appears very well built. This thing is really solid.. over 7 pounds. Heavy duty cables and terminations. Bolted it up to a bulkhead in my boat and connected up the batteries. Powered it up that evening and batteries were all green by morning. Replaced the toy charger that came with the boat that had failed.

Plugged it in and it was working fine one day, walked out the next day to fish. No blue power light. Checked power to the plug.....good. Unscrewed unit for boat, found the unit had cracked. Something must have burned up/exploded in there pretty good to cause that much damage. 3 yr warranty, 4 yr old unit. Never again!!!
