Bought this in February for use in my boat. Didn't even unbox until April and used it through the spring summer and fall. Control buttons no longer work now. Dissappointed to say the least.

Iām using this 3 bank charger for a remote security camera so I can ocassionally charge the battery bank when the solar panels are not enough. It replaced a NOCO 2x2 charger. I ran into an issue with the NOCO 2x2 charger where it would keep forgetting the battery settings and then stop charging because it was overly sensitive to battery faults or AC being disconnected (that were not really faults). So far this Battery Tender is doing well in remembering the battery settings after unplugging and re-plugging them into AC power.This was easy enough to figure out without reading any of the manual. Within a few seconds upon power up, I change the battery setting to AGM with the single button corresponding to the bank. The only minor negative is that this Battery Tender 3 bank charger is physically much larger than the NOCO. But it still fits in the box. It is also a bit more powerful.

If you have a lot of toys like we do this is a great tool to have. Especially during the winter months with little to no use, having this product around comes in very handy. With it being able to keep charge on more than one battery makes it even better.

I was wanting a two bank battery charger for my boat. I had a single bank which charges the trolling motor, but I had nothing built in to charge the cranking battery with. I came across this one on Amazon and thought I'd give it a try. After getting wired up, I really like it. It can be switched for different types of batteries, including lithium ion or lead acid batteries. Since it was set up for three banks, I added a 3rd battery and wired in parallel with my cranking battery. I run all of my electronics on these two batteries now. I have a battery cut off switch between the batteries, so when I'm charging I can charge each battery individually. A contacted the seller and asked if I could connect two outputs to one battery and they said because it had not been tested that way, they could not recommend it. They didn't say it could be done. They just said it hadn't been tested. I thought that was a very fair answer. It was also a fairly quick reply. I asked the question one day and received a response. the next day. This unit appears to be heavy and well made. I will mention it's quite large. It's about 8 by 11 by 4. But with all the options it has, I believe that's to be expected.
