My wife got this for school. She is in a medical assistant program. She says it works well, but the pump is louder than others. Even her instructor said that it is loud. All the students use their own cuffs, so getting one in a different color was ideal.

Updating 2 yrs after purchase:This is total garbage. I have kept it away from everything sharp, and it’s leaking air so I can’t get a valid reading. I doubt I’ve used it a dozen times in those two years. Very discouraging, and next time I’ll pay for an established brand.Original review:I've definitely used better cuffs than this, but for the price, this does a fair job. If I needed this for longer term or more exact readings, I'd spend more for a better brand. This is still far superior than trying to use drug store machines. It just seems to not inflate as easily, or deflate as completely without physically pushing the last bit of air out.

I did not like that the knob gets stuck and become hard to control the rate that you release the air from the device. Makes it difficult to get an accurate reading the first time.
