Nice to get alot of this yellow colored highlighting lead. Color does not bleed through the pages.

I am a voracious reader for my job, mostly technical books for my profession. I need to keep track of the important information presented in the text. I have tried every solution I can think of: I've always hated highlighters because they bleed through; pens are permanent and can bleed too, pencils, while erasable, smudge, are *usually* one color and *usually* don't allow for highlighting (unless maybe using colored pencils, but lets not get into their drawbacks, that's a whole'nother story). But, then I stumbled across the Multi-8! It's incredible as for highlighting!I have replaced a couple of the darker colors once I used them up with lighter colors like peach, and now, a tool that is semi-erasable. Some of the colors come off better than others, the yellow in question fades almost completely and can be blended or covered by just about any of the other colors if you change your mind.I highlight heavily and get about 150 pages per stick. This multipack makes the price economical. This yellow is a great color for highlighting; easy to see through, easy to vary the intensity/brightness by how hard you press (as long as you don't have too much lead exposed you won't break the tip with firm pressure). The lead is smooth and wide enough for a standard line of text.I've been able to use my sticks all the way to the nub with a little care not to return short sticks back into the barrel. As the get short (with the metal attached) or if they are short and broken, they can get jammed inside the loading mechanism. In such a case, a PERFECTLY straight paperclip slid carefully into the front of the Multi-8 pencil (but not so far as to break the tip of the unbroken stick already inside the Multi-8) can usually dislodge the broken piece and allow you to shake the Multi-8 until the pieces drop out. It is important to make a habit of making sure that you have retracted that lead before turning the dial to select another color or you will break the lead that is already in the tip before you turned the dial. It's easy to change sticks of lead, just move the pointer at the top to align with the lead selector, depress the button all the way down, shake the pencil a little more than usual, et voilà, the lead falls out the tip.All in all, this pen is wonderful, the yellow sticks are great, totally worth it if you are looking for a highlighter! 5-stars definitely.

I use the yellow mostly when I am studying to highlight the thoughts most important. This product does not bleed like the liquid forms of highlighters. it perfectly helps the print stand out without obscuring it.
