How to Use This Overcasting Foot
1. Select a stitch and attach the overcasting foot on the sewing machine.
2. Lower the presser foot so the presser foot guide is set flush against the edge of the fabric.
3. Sew along the presser foot guide.
Note: Can't be used for old-fashioned household sewing machine( for only with holder)/ Mini sewing machine and industrial sewing machine

Okay, maybe I treated my original Brother sewing machine over-stitch foot more rough than I realized. One of the times I had to fight with it to release a locked-in bunch of thread, I guess I trusted that the all metal presser foot was more robust than it was. Let me tell you, the “bar” over which the stitch tracks is very important for the over stitching to work correctly. This presser foot is not an OEM Brother replacement part but it works just as well as the original foot did. I even have the impression that it may be a bit more robust than the original foot was, too.

works perfect with Singer HD do not use straight stitch this foot is only designed for any type of cross stitch check clearance side to side before starting and works like a charm

This foot didn’t work with my Singer heavy duty machine . It didn’t allow for the straight stitch seam . It did overlock but didn’t seam stitch
