Helpful tips when sewing tricky or specialty fabrics:
- Paper Clips, Not Pins: Try using paper clips instead of pins to hold the layers of fabric together as you sew. Pins can pierce permanent holes in these specialty fabrics.
- Stitch Length: Increase your stitch length on your machine to a medium to medium-long stitch length setting when sewing leather, plastic, oilcloth and laminated fabrics. A shorter stitch length can cause the fabric to become perforated at the seamline and tear.

I love this teflon foot...i started my bag business and it was a struggle trying to use my regular pressure foot to sew the leather..i decided to try this n its magical...no more sticking n jamming at my sewing machine

This is a plastic pressure foot that is used to prevent the drag from a metal foot when sewing leather or vinyl. I use a Singer Heavy Duty Machine Model 4452. The foot fit perfectly. I sew with Marine grade vinyl which is heavy. This foot keeps my stitch length regular, no sticking. It makes my job so much easier. I am very pleased with this product.
