Need this to be able to use all of my personal extras (wireless mode, Zukey, and barcode scanner) on my work computer with out having to worry about if I get a computer that doesn’t have enough working/empty ports

No stars at all. Zero stars. This either came defective, or is the worst USB hub I've ever seen. It only recognizes the USB wireless mouse. It doesn't recognize my external USB HDDs. And all of this is through the USB 3.0 port. If I connect it through the USB-C port, it doesn't recognize ANYTHING. I even threw it away, just like the money I spent buying it.Don't buy this. You'll throw away your money.

I have had this for a while now and it does everything I need it for. Looking in the product description it says it is not for charging, honestly I do not need it for that. I used it to connect my phone to my computer and it worked perfectly. I only have a charger with USB-C on that end. It works for both USB-A and USB-C very well. I plugged in my USB-C Earpods that I have not been able to use because I have an older iPhone and it works perfectly on my Linux PC. It sounds really well too.Overall I love this product and it can do anything I need it for.

This has been working nicely for me for many months now. I gave it 4 stars because you do have to make sure it is in an open space at all times. I was sick and working from home, sitting on the couch with a blanket, and this was laying underneath my blanket. I accidentally moved it with my hand and noticed it was very hot to the touch. When out in the open, on my desk, it is just very slightly warm. Nothing to be alarmed about, but I am very cautious now & make sure it is never underneath anything/covered up. Performance otherwise has been as expected. Doesn't seem to charge things quickly if you are using one of the USB ports to charge a device or headphones. Seemed like it took forever to charge. Works great though for all my computer/monitor/keyboard/mouse needs.

This is a USB-C hub with 3 USB-C ports and 4 USB ports. This allows me to connect older USB devices to the USB-C port on my new computer. The adapter plug allows me to use it on my older or my new computer.

USB hubs should be an extremely simple and efficient, well working device… But sadly, these days many of them are garbage.I actually went through a couple before I found this one. This one has four USB-A ports and four USB-C ports, all of which are USB 3.0 speed.For maximum reliability, connect the power cable as well. Not necessary for low powered or light use though. Highly recommend this! Inexpensive, small, tons of ports and works extremely well.
