This office chair was mostly easy to assemble, however one of the screws was too small for the hole it was meant to go in, and so we needed to hammer it in. Ultimately, it did hold the chair together and works just fine. The chair is a bit smaller than expected. It would be ideal for a pre-teen's desk or for a shorter person. I'm 5' 2", and it feels a little small for me. However, I feel comfortable in it and find that I can sit comfortably for longer periods of time. It also rolls around nicely. It looks absolutely adorable in my office space. The material feels like a soft, low-profile faux suede. I like it. I'm glad I got it. It comes in other fun colors too. It was hard for me to decide which one to get.
