This stove is lightweight, compact and more then powerful enough for my needs. I never had to crank it full open to heat or boil. Note that it gets hot! Legs stay cool but needs a couple of minutes to cool on the bottom side of the burner. I used it winter camping below -10C using the propane adapter and a 1 pound propane tank. I really like that it can use more then one type of fuel. Flame is nearly invisible so be careful! Listen for it to light just as the instructions suggest, works best. The piezo starter worked okay, took on average 3-4 tries to light the burner but it never failed to ignite. Stable and usable on surfaces that aren't perfectly flat-better then stoves that fit on top a tank. Large enough for a small pot, kettle or pan. Build quality is good overall. The piezo starter might be something that fails in future so I'll take some backup lighter or matches along-always a good idea anyways. Great product for the price.

Bought this as a backup/alternative stove to my traditional cannister stove and my Coleman cooktop. It works fine and the price is right - you can't beat it. My one disappointment - and this was my fault, so I didn't deduct a star - is that I didn't realize that this stove does not seem to be "inverted cannister compatible." I really wanted a stove that I could use in colder weather with an inverted cannister, and I thought that this one would work....but it does NOT seem like that is the case, so FYI. For $20, it's not worth sending it back - I'd rather keep it in my backup kit. But now I need to purchase yet another stove, if I want the inversion capabilities. The price is right, just be aware....

Good stove. All stainless steel. Burns great. Boils 500 ml water in minutes. Legs a little wonky but stable. screws on to a 1lb propane bottle no problem. Flame should be little more blue got a little too much yellow flame, and that is at a low setting. Takes a little tuning.

Bought this 4 a dedicated coffee pot stove! Amazing. Lights easy, boils water quickness sturdy enuf for a 1 gal SS soup pot full of water. Takes about 20 secs to unpack, fold out, connect to propane and have it burning! High quality matl's, folds down into really small plastic protective box, light weight! Do you understand yet that I love this thing? Think I'll buy another for a spare!

This capstone is highly portable and very powerful!! Used on a week long trip and found the stove very flexible. Super lightweight, legs expand to hold pan or small pot, and hose is long enough to reach an upright propane tank. Stove was gentle on fuel consumption. Cooled quickly and easily fit back into the provided orange hardcase. The hardcase is a great feature. You can store the stove without fear of crushing or breaking the stove. We only used with propane. As a precaution we bought a stand up fold out wind screen. Even in a light breeze the stove performed beautifully without the wind screen. We did use the wind screen once to test and see I'd that made a difference in higher wind. Made a small difference in increased wind (>5mph). We will keep the windscreen in out backpack since it was also lightweight and took up little space.

We are pleasantly surprised by this mighty stove. It is more powerful than my much bigger and heavier camp stove. We originally bought it for backpacking for its very compact size, but looks like it will be THE camp stove for us backpacking or car camping, b/c with 3 heads it is super powerful and boils water faster than our bigger and heavier car camping stove. It is also very stable and can hold large pots. We put a 5L pot on top to cook 1 pot meals (noodle+vegi+tofu all in one pot) for 3 with no problem, and no need for delicate balancing which I originally thought would need. Impressed. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the stove won't ignite when received, took some fiddling of the ignitor tip to make it work. But works well since then.I also love the adapter that comes with it to connect to larger propane bottle. But take notes: if you run out of gas in the middle of cooking and need to re-ignite the stove after changing the gas bottle, the ignitor can get really hot and scorch your finger.
