This is something I've been thinking about getting for quite some time. I want to monitor my transmission temp as well as my boost. I tried the phone app but couldn't get it to display correctly. While this unit is not as customizable with where to put the gauges, it does give me the gauges that I want. Simply plug in and mount in a visible area. You can use the toggle to change the gauges and it's as simple as that! Have fun! Great size and great purchase.

At about $46 (after coupon, at the time of this review) this feels a little overpriced. I would gladly trade some of the graphics for more customizable choices in displayed values. There are systems I would like to track that are unavailable in the regular display settings, even though the data is there in the trouble code functions.The instructions were easy to follow, so if the functions you want are available, it's not hard to set them up. It would be nice if the inclinometer took vehicle motion into account. Instead, it just displays wildly inaccurate values while the vehicle is in motion. Once you park, though, it seems accurate.For the price, there are better code readers and other diagnostic tools available. This display does well at its primary job, which is to give you a positionable, heads-up display of key information while driving.
