This is the solution fo your GM speedometer. I have a Tremec T56, I first tried to extend my speedometer cable but it lead to routing problems with the exhaust. Second solution was to use the vss signal with a modern set or gauges made in Detroit, but I quickly found those gauges to not be reliable, specifically the oil pressure and tach were garbage and the speedometer would randomly flick around the speeds of 1-45 mpg. This allowed me to go back to the factory gauges, use the VSS and gps. Not only that it's quiet, at least in a 77 Trans Am. After a good drive the needle smoothed out like you would expect. Now I don't have to worry about a speedo cable melting under my car. Great product, I never had to do any programming, it's already set to give out the rotations to match a GM speedo.I did buy an extension cable for the GPS antenna, will get the product number and add it later today. This allowed me to mount the GPS antenna on the back window, on a 77 Trans am the window is sloped allowing the antenna to easily connect to the satellites.The cable I got to allow me to relocate the GPS sender was: "Superbat RF coaxial SMA Male to SMA Female Bulkhead RG174 15ft Cable + 3pcs RF Coax SMA Adapter Kit ...".
